Internet tab currently mirrors hosted tab. The internet tab is not functioning as its suppose to and this has been an ongoing issue, not sure when SA-MP devs will decide to fix it.

Not sure why. For now yes, you are doomed and some of the ways to boost your traffic is by word of mouth and SA:MP forum ads, ******** pages, etc. Otherwise, you'll just have to buy hosted tab.
