It has been 1 year since ****** Left, (im not sure with the date). I still miss you ******, you were a great developer.

He didn't die, but he was tired of SA-MP.
He acknowledged the fact that staying in this world was bad for his health, so he decided to leave.
He is resting and enjoying his life. So RIP is unusually appropriate.

Really, why RIP? He left SA-MP, he didn't die. You should respect his choice to left SA-MP.
