I'm being curious, I came back after a year and things have been pretty much changed a lot, well that's not the case but looking at the current statistics, is it gonna last this year or not?

I recommend you look at how many times this has been asked on this forum alone, and figure out what it means.

So many at some point or another coins that SA-MP is dying, when really, it's not.


Can't see why you couldn't take it upon yourself to look.

More-so because of the immature kids who think this place is a community, not a development forum. Then turn all offensive when they ask for help, and don't get the answer pasted to them fast enough.

It's slowly dying for the people that still care to stick around. And they know it.

A new generation is replacing the old members. Where as, the old members no longer play SA-MP, and they just would rather script, map, or go on this forum. Whilst, the new generation, like always, are doing what they are all good at, at doing everything wrong.

However, open sourcing SA-MP (which may be soon according to some hearsays) would sign SA-MP's dead.

IMO, SA-MP is dying.

1. Yes - SA-MP's player count hasn't gone down by much. But most of the players are in small groups in tiny roleplay servers that are all duplications of each other.
2. The beta testers rarely post or come online anymore.
3. 98.5% of servers are crappy empty roleplay servers. This percentage has been climbing for years.

I think that your brain cells are, instead of worrying if it is gonna die or not, why not just enjoy the time you have left? This question has been asked a lot of times, you just added another useless thread into the statistics.

it's almost a year~ since i left samp. and still today i checked this forum and see no updates at all. if the devs team dont want samp dies slowly, they should update it at least once in 6 months.
