.pwn files causing windows explorer to crash? - Syzygy1 - 25.02.2016

Every time I try to open a folder with .pwn files in, Windows Explorer just restarts itself and closes the folder meaning I can't access any of my gamemode files. Sometimes it just restarts instantly, but other times the PC hangs for 5-10 seconds while the folder says "Working on it..." and then it restarts.

At first I thought it was just any random folders causing it to crash, but I think I've narrowed it down to folders containing .pwn files. For example, I can open my server's main folder, but as soon as I open "gamemodes" or "pawno", both folders containing .pwn files, it restarts. It also restarts if I just hover my cursor over a folder containing .pwn files.

I'm using Windows 10. This has only just started happening a few days ago. Anyone experienced something similar or know what's going wrong?

What do you open .pwn files with? Text files itself cause nothing to happen.
Try rebuilding your icon cache, see if that helps.
