Or, if you have cPanel, use the basic DNS editor and from there you can add your own record.

It will be under 'Add a new record.'

As long as you configure the records correctly on the domain name's DNS, you can get it working. You will need to add a new record, as FreAkeD stated, with an 'A' protocol and add the server's IP address on the value. DNS propagation may take up to 72 hours, depending on the domain name provider.
