[ASK] Fail2ban For SA-MP? - Doubdoud - 15.02.2016

Should i install Fail2ban for protect my VPS?

Is it good for SA-MP? If Player with high ping ( Lagger ) join my server, and he try to connect my server more than one time, is he ip will get banned?

From looking at the wiki, it wont protect your sa-mp server from laggers, etc but it will protect the files that are on your VPS that shouldn't be accessed by the public.

I'd rather kick people that lag but not ban them, it would be stupid if i get banned cuz my internetconnection doesnt work properly

Just set an anti ping sister which kicks laggers, don't install no fancy shit programs, waste of script lines :/

Well okay, thanks for everyone here, i understand right now.

But i don't mean to ban lagger player, first one i think with fail2ban it can hold ddos attack, so i think, if lagger player connect to my server, and fail2ban think the lagger player is ddos attack, because some lagger player try connect to server more than one time.
