Factions not working... - Tass007 - 01.02.2016

I'm in a predicament. I have a server host, and a local host. On local host factions load/save everything. However on server host they don't. When trying to create factions they don't load or something. I don't have any idea why. The local host is Windows, server host is Linux. Could that possibly change things if so, what do I need to do to fix it?

If I need to provide any information I will be happy to do so.

As always who ever helps with get +1 Rep.

Cheers, and thank you for your time.

Are you using Y-INI, Dini or SQL?

Dini

It could be the permissions of writing to the scriptfiles folder. Also make sure the required folders exist, if any.

Should be pretty easy to change them.

Did you make the gamemode, or simply edit it?

Re: Factions not working... - Tass007 - 02.02.2016

I'm editing it.

It's a permissions problem, certainly. Using a Linux command grant your files permission to write.

Do you have any idea what Linux command I can use to grant my files permission to write?

What OS of Linux do you have so I may provide the correct command?

I'm not to sure. As it's my host. I just know that it's Linux :P
