Windows 7 - Sanady - 30.01.2016
Hello everybody, I have unknown error shows up to me while I want to install 32bit Windows 7 Ultimate on my friends laptop HP Compaq Presario CQ57, from start everything goes fine but when install reach point "Install Updates", error shows up, I never had problem with that DVD before, every PC in my house has that windows from same DVD which I am using now to install Windows on laptop, why is that happening? What`s the problem can anyone explain me?

maybe the dvd scratched recently?

are you sure its not the pc's problem? maybe some compostants are harmed? since you said it works perfectly on the pc's in your house ..

It would help to know what kind of error shows up. A screenshot or a photo or something.
Some laptops got a locked OS, meaning that you can only install the laptops original OS using a certain serial number. Using other operating systems or serial numbers isnt possible then. Usually it can be bypassed. Though I dont think its this in your case, but might be wort a try.
