My vehicle colour codes are only setting as shades of black and white no matter what colour I set, any help?

I have visited some sites where there is info regarding color coding of vehicles. Can you post some links where there tutorials are good.

Regarding the OP's problem...
I bet you were using hex colors. Car colors are not hex. There is a pre set group of colors specifically for vehicles.
