Running SA-MP from a digital download - earleyandy - 18.12.2015

Hi,
I used to play SA-MP want to again but I do not have a copy of SA anymore.
I wish to purchase SA from the Rockstar Warehouse to play SA-MP however I do not want to buy it if SA-MP won't work. I remember that running from a download was a hassle and am wondering whether it will work or not.. that is all.

You'll need to get GTA:SA 1.0, which you probably won't get from Rockstar Warehouse (although I think you can downgrade!).

New problem, I have downgraded but am using a 64 bit system and it is not compatible.
Does this mean I cannot play SA-MP?

I'm on 64 bit, and it is compatible... What exactly is failing and reporting the 64 bit issue?

If you have Windows 10, yea, that's a *****... (I can help you though as today I found a "fix" in some way)
