if you are in the water and you go down at deep water like (z < 10) , automatic a shark start follow you for kill you 
cameras change during 5 second to make more difficult swimg and create a intriger escene and then you need swing to outside before shark kill you.

Wow, Nice idea, Will add this idea to my gamemode but make the shark follow you if you are far out, No matter low or high water.

What about sharks in random area's of the sea, and if a player passes near and is in the water, then the shark will start to swim towards him
