The example scripts in the SAMP-Server package are a wonder to read. Along with the various tutorials around the forums. Should start looking at those, and make some code, then come back...

/save in the client saves your position to a file that you can use the co-ordinates to set spawns and enter/exit locations.

Grand Larceny actually has the banks put in, and has enter/exit on them.
