Going from MySQL R5 to R7 (or whatever the newest is) - Nucky - 18.09.2015

So, I picked up an old script and is trying to update the MySQL because I am missing the mysql.so for R5. I know I can find it, but I want the newest / updated ones. So could someone give me a quick guide on how to do this? Inside the script, also in the include file? Is it hard? I read something about threading etc.
