Banlist ignored? -

For about 4 times I have noticed someone on my server, whose IP was banned, but he was still playing on my server, and
had the same IP. The ban was issued some time ago, and was also preventing the user from entering for a time, but apparently not for long. Using "reloadbans" promptly disconnected him from the server, and he hasn't returned. Could this be caused by there being lots of bans (263), or other causes?

I suggest you to start using a more permanent saving system for bans, such as mysql.

If you are using a basic log system, as far as i remember, you need to reload the file for his ban to take effect. If you use mysql, like the poster above said, you will have an easier life/

As I said, I use samp.ban, and the ban had worked before, but then it stopped until "reloadbans", so it could again stop working in the future.

It's odd. I don't have a direct solution for you but I think sending a remote reloadbans RCON in your ban command or so could be an alternative fix.

I guess you can do /rcon ban or someshit, or use a better ban system.
