Useful links that are required to study and setup MySQL for a SA-MP server:
Other tutorials which are written by Vince:
(I wouldn't recommend going through these tutorials unless you've learned abit basic about MySQL because most of them are pretty advance for a newbie) Want more MySQL related tutorials? You can simply ****** it, there are millions of tutorials available on the internet.

http://www.w3schools.com/sql/
That is just sql (MySql uses sql syntax), and it doesnt explain how to handle results in pawn or any other language/software/whatever...

If you just want to learn about some modern databases than i suggest you to check out MongoDB, its one of the uprising no-sql databases.

MySQL isn't just a mere plugin. The plugin only supports connection and interaction with the database, SQL is it's entire own language just as PAWN is a language and isn't "SA-MP"(it's merely what's used to compile and write scripts for use within SA-MP).

Stop recommending W3Schools! It's terrible.

If you're working in the fields for ages now, I'm really disappointment if you haven't really noticed the documentation of W3Schools. I don't mind the really basic stuff, but what if there are BETTER sites like MDN, why visit W3Schools because it's appearing on the top search result?

W3Schools is quite famous for giving out wrong and outdated information (especially the example code), mainly common among the institutes, they all recommend W3Schools for reference which is wrong. I always recommend MDN for web development because I know myself that once the base of reference is good, you can be a good developer otherwise you'll end up with an incomplete and outdated information. Don't rely on W3Schools if you wanted to be a good developer.

If it works for the very basic information he needs then i really don't see the issue.
