Wrong forum, also there's better places to look for support for an open source piece of software that's actively being developed.
You don't need to setup advanced features to use phpMyAdmin, those are just if you need/want extra functionality. If you do, you just have to setup phpMyAdmin with a database, which it explains how to do.
