SA-MP R2 flagged as virus? - TwinkiDaBoss - 29.07.2015

Is anyone encountering this issue? Whenever I try to download SAMP server package (latest one) it tells me its a virus and preety much AVG blocks it entirely.

EDIT: Its not just AVG thats blocking it, preety much all browsers I got are blocking it.

Did you Test it at https://www.virustotal.com/en/ ?

The free version of AVG sucks, download a real free antivirus like avast and retry.

Its not just AVG, Firefox and Chrome are blocking it. Not just on my PC, its preety much I had five people to see if they can DL it and still blocked.


Also Im not using free version of AVG

Consiering my servers wasnt able to get on the internet list for 2 weeks due to 2 anti viruses were flagging announce.exe as a harmfull software then yes I want to find out why and such.

Bitdefender seems to block it as well.

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/4...is/1438170339/ this is direct from the zip link itself, seems like more than a couple of anti-virus's aren't liking 0.3.7 windows server packages.

Indeed, mostly its focused on announce.exe

I personally use R2 and no problems at all atm after resolving 2 week issue with announce.exe being blocked by anti virus but yeah, wondered why is it being blocked.

LOL NO! There no virus in SA-MP R2 . First tell me from where you have downloaded the file? Second, Remove your AVG and install better one. Third, There a website where you can scam online file. So do it.

Looks like I was wrong. Firefox is blocking the download, although I was able to deblock it. Avast says it's clean, though. This is the virustotal report for the Windows package in this topic:
