You've to purchase GTA SA, and then you can install sa-mp into it. SA-MP doesn't include single player in it.

You need to have GTA San Andreas game (singleplayer) to download sa-mp. Once you have downloaded the game, download sa-mp from here www.sa-mp.com/download

You need to have a GTA-SA files before you can get the SA-MP. If your friends have a GTA-SA files in their PC, ask them for a copy and put it in your flashdrive then paste it in your LOCAL DISK D. Easy wizzy

As stated above, you need to Purchase GTA:SA. This can be done in multiple ways including Disk(eBay, etc), Via Steam and so on.

From there sa-mp.com and press download (www.sa-mp.com/download.php) Press the latest version and follow the installation instructions

Make sure you have version 1.0 (you will need to "downgrade", if you use Steam version, so even if you own Steam version I suggest you to download retail one).
