How to stop server on vps - perfectboy - 10.05.2015

Hey guys i got the samp server running on my ubuntu 14 (server edition) on my vps but i dont know how to upload the new gamemodes to my vps and stop the server so that i can restart it after adding the new gamemode. Hope you guys can help me.

Okay thanks any can you please also tell how to upload files to the vps as im new to this vps concept. I mean do we have to install something like filezilla to add the ftp so that i can upload files.

I would recommend WinCP or FileZilla

root // vps password // server ip

Well for that you can refer to the SA-MP wiki page and go through ******* tutorials(There are MANY)as videos are much easier to understand than the texts.
As for ftp stuffs I'd recommend FileZilla. Its pretty easy to understand and use. But even then i'd prefer you to go through lots of ******* tutorials.
