In case you're trully living in USA, you could join www.toluna.com for paid surveys.
Read more about this on their website.
Note: That website is one of the few which is verified, and pays for real, not just lying.

Paid survey sites are awful, you get like 5 cents for doing 20 surveys. If you do that with the hope of making money you're an idiot.

Depends on each website.
I coun't test it as they do not provide their services in my coutry for the time being.
