I was browsing on WikiPedia and searched GTA IV. Yes i was bored, so i started to read on the GTA IV article Wikipedia had, when this caught my eye:
RockStar teams up with SA:MP Developers
As of 06-27-2008 www.RockStargames.com announced they will be teaming up with the current developers of the San Andreas multiplayer modification. This will open many horizons not only for Grand Theft Auto IV , but for the many Grand Theft Auto multiplayer's to come. Kye , the main developer of the San Andreas Modification / EX-developer of MTA , another San Andreas modification , will be flying out to New York to start development.
idk if this is true, but if its true, can the Kyeman himself verify this, or at least other Beta Testers.

Well if it is, than i am guessing there could be some nice moods for GTA IV though, anyways, if people say its fake, on my opinion you never know. I mean, if you are a developer for something, you mostly have a goal to grow up to something big, so yeah, i dont think its unpossible but probably fake.

i do not believe this is true to be honest as no disrespect to SA:MP
But if Rockstar wanted to make a IV MP then they would use their own company members to make this as they are proffesioanlls in their own game. They would not get someone else to make it for them.
