Running Problem - Alexioco - 01.12.2008

Hello, I have a problem in opening sa-mp.exe, instead of it opening in the running program it asks me to choose a program to open it in like note pad or something, how do I open it in the correct place, the sa-mp exe is on my desktop, i have tried copying its location into the "run" program but just opens up the part where it asks me to choose a program to open it, what do i do?

double check that you have .exe at the end of the file name

ok I put .exe at the end of the file, it opens it up on that black box, but there is no writing on it, then the black box goes off...

read the text in the server.log file within the same dir (*magic*)

where is the server.log file? I cannot see it there

post your server.cfg file here.
probably you haven't changed your rcon password or set a gamemode or smth

there we go, i know the password isn't there, i took it out...

try anticheat 0

run it as administrator

Ok i i tried anticheat 0 and it still does the same thing, the black screen comes on then goes off again...

I have windows xp
