How can i compile my plugin for Linux in Windows OS in Visual Studio, if its possible?

Linux plugins must be compiled on Linux.

I doubt if it works. Cygwin is used to compile linux programs to run under Windows, not to run under linux.

Just use a virtual machine, it's pretty easy to setup (e.g. Oracle Virtualbox).
