How to export / import databse on Os linux ?

to export
mysqldump -u [uname] -p[pass] db_name > db_backup.sql

to import
mysql -u username -p -h localhost DATA-BASE-NAME < db.sql

or install and use phpMyAdmin

Any one have a tutorial using a phpMyAdmin for import the database?
Because my phpMyAdmin have an problem.
