I dont understand that either because admin actually is a job and isnt suppose to be 'fun'.
From what comes to my knowledge is that those wannabe-admins are looking for some kind of
'power' .
Mostly if those people became and admin then suddenly admin abuse level rises alot.
Its also a way of saying " let me be admin or i wont join your server"

It's much the same in any other game that allows private servers, SAMP, CSS, MTA, etc.

You hit the nail on the head, some people (majority kids) like power, the "LOOK AT ME 13337 ADMIN" factor. This happens a lot with Roleplay spin-off servers, people go and create their own RP server, it lasts a few weeks because being an admin but having no players to ASSERT YOUR AUTHORITAH isn't fun.

I had a server before and this was the exact thing happening.
I just ignored them and warned who asks constantly.

And just be strict.. Players will say to you that like that you will lose players.
But trust me if you have a good script and a good economy where players have something to do instead of just logging in then get 100K and a bullet and a biz and a house.... Players won't leave.

Yeah i had a server some time ago for a bit.
It's because they don't really care about the server, just doing the same would be boring.
Therefore they often go to a "small" server and ask to be admin, and say they can invite people to the server.

I had someone join my teamspeak and asking for admin, he didn't even know the IP of the server itself.
The solution is to be strict, create rules against this and just make most of them leave.
You don't want people on your server that only plays to be a staff member anyways.

All started with servers using leak scripts. Owners where giving admin lvl {FREE}.
I really hate this, the bad is if we don't give them admin lvl they doing crazy stuff in server(ddos,crashing,bugging) or rage quiting
