SA-MP and GTA SA won't run. - InfinityCOD - 31.01.2015

SA-MP and GTA SA will not run onto my 64 Bit Windows 7 PC, I opened gta sa tried running it, nothing happened. No errors, no opening, nothing. Same with the SA-MP client.

That's the thing, when I run GTA SA or try to connect to a SA-MP server, it won't run.

So, if I tried connecting to any server, nothing would happen. It won't show any errors or anything, it just won't run.

Reinstall ?

Run as admin?

Run in another compatibility

You just restart your PC, they are fixed the problem.

Got any anti viruses installed? As I had the same problem, AVG was blocking my GTA SA so I had to make an exception for it and then it worked. (Normally GTA SA would go into background when I'd turn on task manager and wouldn't start.)

Where'd the "Tutorial" go that had the steps to fix this, which the first one was......



INSTALL DIRECTX 9 C...



That will fix this entirely.

Have you tierd to delete gta.set ?.

Make a backup before you try it.. If you don't want all your settings to get lost.
