The Future of SA-MP -
DTV - 12.01.2015
With the release date of the PC version of GTA V coming closer and closer, do you think this will cause SA-MP to slowly fade into obscurity or will it take a hit before going back to normal?

I just want to add people still play SAMP at 800x600 and get 30FPS.
So tell me how people will be able to run GTA V.

No.
Again for these threads, a game does not simply lose 4,7k players that're online at the same moment. It's even more 2-6AM for most of people over there.
And also, people can't even get 60 FPS at a 10 years old game, how do you expect them to be able to run GTA V? Lol

No, everything will remain normal, Furthermore, there are people who can not open the game (not all having a PC with so many resources), SA:MP has things that GTA V not and obviously does will not have., simply because not being designed for it, simplicity in SA:MP is what makes it good.

When SAMP was there and when was GTA IV was launched. and nothing happened Threads like these were made about the SAMP and now GTA V is launching and nothing will happen to SAMP.
No SAMP = No life.

GTA V will not affect SAMP in any way. Old is gold.

Not everyone will be able to run GTA V, so therefore SA-MP will remain.
It's also a good language to start a programming education... After all, SMALL, was used for that in the beginning.

They'd already be playing it then wouldn't they? And it'd only be 30 players max, not what the PC version will be made to provide...
And I'm not talking of the limits made by Rockstar if they leave it sitting at 30......

You don't have to be rich to play GTA V, it doesn't cost much to buy a good pc or a ps.
