How to avoid possible massive lag - DRP - 28.12.2014

Hello, I've come up with this tutorial as I've experienced this bug, and found a solution.

So how do you indetify it? When you log in SAMP you will experience massive lag, like, it's takes an hour to write something, you walk but it takes 1 hour for an step

Why does it happens?? Well, this happens because when you try to connect on sa-mp, you fail in first try, then try to connect again and it connects, but in your operating system is loading 2 GTA's, that's an big problem

How to avoid it? Well, you quit the game, and open up your task menager, go up to Procceses on the top bar, then search for gta_sa.exe and end the proccess.
If this seems usefull please don't be lazy to rep+ me

Why would you go through all that trouble, when you can get a better pc? :P

This never happens to me.

I have never encountered exactly like what you said but it's a fact that gta_sa might be already opened as a background process. However, it will not be opening another one in case if it's already opened as a background process unless you purposely want to do so.

Lag can happen for several reasons such as:

- The host might be on the other side of the world(causes me to have 500+ ping)
- Could be too many modifications on the GTA game.
- I could be downloading something on the torrent that would slow down my game

Simple solution: Get a better ISP.
