Persevering with Prison Roleplay. - Cookland - 24.12.2014

After many hours of research I have come to the conclusion of asking you guys.

So I've been working on a script which I found online, and have broken it down into a cleaner and fresher script for the 0.3z launcher.
I was curious as to hear your guys thoughts on the situation, and if you think this could work.

I was going to re-launch a new genre which has seemily died out from the SA:MP community; The uh-.. Prison Roleplay genre.

You're probably just tihnking; "Fuck sake, another attempt which is going to die out". I have no intentions on keeping it up for months on end, but I feel like it may have potential.

You don't even have to comment, you can just post a poll response and that'd be awesome.

Prison Roleplay Server. (Unknown name)


1		>> Factions (Correctional Officers/Guards)(S.W.A.T)
2		>> Gangs/Families (Surenos)(Aryan Brotherhood) (Crips)

3		>>Faction locker Room (Includes; Nite-stick, Kevlar, Tazer, Handcuffs)(Physical toys too)

4		>> Specific Jobs around the prison 'LEGAL' (Cleaner - Cafeteria/Kitchen/Cell Blocks/Yard)(Chef - Kitchen/Cafeteria) (Trash Cleaner - Yard/Cell Blocks)
5		>> Specific Jobs around the prison 'ILLEGAL' (Drug Dealer) (Lock Picker)

6		>> Specific 'hang-out' locations (Yard)(Cafeteria)(Gym)

7		>> 11PM to 7AM - Cell Block. (Bed time basically)
8		>> 8AM to 6PM - Yard. (Gym)(Sports)(Gambling)(Smoke)
9		>> 6PM onwards - Free time. (Library)(Gym)(Work for money)(Relax)

10		>> Starter money ($50, $500, $5,000?)

In the past I have only really played one Prison RP server. I loved it for the time it was up. The other Prison based servers didn't have a lot of realism. I would like to see a realistic setup for a prison like scenario roleplay.

Also, it would be nice to see a character creation setup. Basic information, crimes committed, affiliations etc...

So the person themselves get to choose WHY they're being imprisoned in the first place? Maybe even a gang system like the Surenos or something within the prison itself, aswell as Wardens/officers etc.

With the Warden/Officers. In past servers I've seen servers kind of open applications (kind of like the police on normal rp servers). I'd recommend opening a 'Correctional Office' like application on a forum. If a player seems fit enough, they can create an alt and have a system where they will be set as a CO.

This basically. Every time I apply to be a correctional officer it's always awkward for me to roleplay with people who I already know in the prison lol. I know you're basically PK'ed, but still (:

I've played on most prison servers in the past and I really enjoyed it so why not? Voted possitive.
