I've made this thread as it seems a lot of people are requesting help for Dedicated Servers/VPS's. I'll try to reply to your problem to an extent of my knowledge, but there's other members that could help out as well.

Also this is an issue that i have found recently due to using Ubunto 14.04 LTS 64x

Ehm, my VPS won't resolve any IPs or domains using (wget) or even at all.

Any ideas?

Try to ask your hosting provider may be thier DNS server is not working.

If you're unable to resolve DNS but also can't ping any IP's (should test that before moving forward), check your firewall (if any) and then with your host. HTTP traffic (port 80) outbound is likely getting blocked somewhere.

I've resolved the issues regarding "wget" and "ping"

But now, when I start the samp server. It works, but when I add it to my favorites, it's still down. I've checked the logs and everything is good. I'm thinking it's because 7777 is closed? if I opened it in the firewall. Could someone give me an example of what to put?
