Hello.. i've hosted my server on linux,i'm controling it using FileZilla.well,my friend just ran the server,i don't know how..
i just want to ask how can i turn it off and run it..please help me

you should know username and password. If you can control the server in filezilla you can turn off the server.

or SSH into your server and type "killall -9 samp03svr"

You should have a Username and a Password to log on to your FTP and control the server, whether its off or on.

I have the user and the password,i don't know how to run it...

You can't turn it OFF by FTP.

You have to connect with SSH to your server and then you can turn it OFF by: # killall samp03svr
