Yes it can hold nowadays games. Nowadays games put minimum requirements for GPU mostly as Radeon HD 5xxx or so.

lags on my 7950 at high settings for some reason. Probably gotta update drivers. Too lazy though lol

Its the best thing to start with, and an objective result. I guess thats much more useful than saying "I had that card and it was good and can run most stuff well"
