Blocked Port : XAMPP [Question] - Gogorakis - 15.11.2014

Skype is offline. Why do I keep getting the "blocked port" error?
I got a SmartTV, PS4, 1 tablet, 3 smartphones and 2 laptops on. May they cause it?

Check your user ports. Fix them as what Mark said.

Go to http://localhost and tell us what is it telling to you ? If possible, post its screenshot here.

You can always change what port's it uses. You can do this by opening the http.conf file and searching for the ports that XAMPP is currently attempting to run on, and then change it to something not in use. And if all of those devices are connected to the same network it may be possible that something running on one of them is blocking a port needed by XAMPP to function.

If you have Skype, then maybe it's the cause.

Open Skype > top menu: Tools > Options > Left menu: Advanced > Connection > Uncheck "Use 80 and 443 for additional incoming connections"

He already stated that skype is not running. As-long as skype is offline when you first start XAMPP it'll work just fine.
