How to report a Server owner claiming PR-RP as his own? - jremi - 05.11.2014

I was playing on a server, where the owner said everything was custom and unique and that it was him who created it..

When I even confirmed that it was PR-RP by the same mapping and commands in a leaked PR RP script I found online, and I had someone who collects these GM's and sells them,etc...

Can I report him for this or something?

Don't worry, SA-MP never did something against that and don't think they'll start doing something about it soon. So you don't have to really bother.

They've done it before... They did it for NGRP, and WC-RP scripts...

Yeah and? SAMP is just a software. If you get fucked up on a store running PrestaShop, do you go to their support forum and cry about it? I guess not.

ACTUALLY KIDS,
The copyright claims(which are INVALID as PAWN scripts ARE NOT copyrightable), are by the servers, and not SA:MP.

SA:MP has nothing to do with "stolen script take-downs".

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Anything remotely creative that you write or create is inherently copyrighted. That includes any kind of code.

@OP: your best bet is to find out what host they use and filing a DMCA complaint with them.
