Toplist with latest MySQL Version - Printable Version

Toplist with latest MySQL Version - biker122 - 01.11.2014

So with R5, and older versions, I was doing it with, mysql_retrieve_row, mysql_fetch_field_row.
So, I'm now converting it into MySQL R39, and I don't know how it actually works now..
So could someone tell me how I can get the data with MySQL R39?
