Hello everyone, does anyone know how to adjust the microphone to not hear the example of my friends in the background, tv etc... I have a SingStar microphone and not just low-grade but is there a program to get rid of these sounds?

Adobe Audition or better turn off that sounds

Those singstar microphones are designed to pick up sound from every direction and larger distances, so its difficult to filter that. Try turning of the microphone gain in the windows sound settings, this might help a bit at least.

There's nothing you can do really, I have a Blue Yeti and I still pick up the odd occasional background noise.

It's a very difficult thing to isolate to one reason.
