i have got a laptop with HDMI output, i want to connect to it to my non HDMI screen (VGA)
could that be achieved using this thingy? http://*******/oZrSF6
i though that some of you might had the same issue, so thats why im asking here

I've a beast GPU with HDMI but a VGA monitor so I use the same converter.

1$ for an active digital-analog converter sounds fishy. It works, but expect a blurry image for higher resolutions, as those cheap converters usually suck.
Nothing to lose for a dollar though.
