What about if someone in sa-mp made a Gamemode just like the SIMS? like u right click and u can use the toilet and stuff wouldnt that be cool?

Refer to my previous point (about possibility).

And there's no excuse for not having the Sims (when you want it). Does not require a particularly good computer, especially Sims 2, which was actually free for a short period of time (all the expansion packs included)...

Yeah I have thought about doing this before, I have a bunch of friends who would love to be able to play a multiplayer Sims. I actually put a lot of thought into how everything would work, I just never got around to doing it :P

Nope. The Sims 1 had a online expansion but it was terrible and not like anyone expected at all. And plus that was The Sims 1, we're on number 4 now.

There was a 3rd party Sims 2 Multiplayer mod aswell, although due to having to stick to a single time frame it got dull as well. Aside from that the only benefit was IG chat, and seeing your friends houses. Other than that they were like NPCs, I know a few of my friends used it to "hang out" with their girl friends. Which I thought was kinda creepy.

There was also Sims 2 Split Screen on console. Again, creepy.

Update: Can't find it, I get swamped by PS2 split screen gameplay. It definitely existed however, as my sisters and I used to all sit with our computers in the same room. Meeting each others Sims in an Online Region. It was definitely the Sims 2, not the Sims 1 Online as I brought Sims 1 after I brought Sims 2.
