Hello Everyone.I've been thinking of trying PropHunt in SA-MP.

If anyone played it or knows how it works in other games, Well just to tell you it's
not going to be Exactly the same like in the Other games, Though the idea is quite the same.
Why i made this Thread?
To get your Suggestions, How would you like to play PropHunt in
SAMP? I tried to copy it exactly just like the Other Games, But unfortunately i don't think it's possible for it to be Exactly like the other games.
So what was i thinking is that I can make it
2 Types. any of these two.
-1st) I don't think it's possible to make a player Invisible (That's sad

), What i tried is to find objects that are Bigger than the Player and use them to Hide the players like
"Crates, Boxes or any other big object.. There are many" so that's cool too. But the problem is that then you can not turn into small objects like "bottle, basketball, vending machine etc" and the good thing is that it can climb up when jumps. But for there is the 2nd option
-2nd) Well i was thinking to use RC Tiger, it dosen't drift too much as compared to the pot (smaller, but movement sucks and drifts too much), Dosen't make much sound and it was the best RC i could find, Still it can't be changeable in much smaller objects like
bottles , basketball etc but actually medium-small type objects can be used, but the bad thing about it is that it can not climb up like CJ or any other skin Does.Though it
'Will jump' for sure.
If you're lazy to read it All, So just post your opinions about if you ever want to play PropHunt what Would you suggest to play with
-RC Tiger (Small so supports small objects but can not climb etc)
-CJ (Only big objects supported as CJ can't become invisible but good movment/controlls and can climb too :P )
And also i'd like to hear about your Suggestions, Anything new that should be added or anything different that the other PropHunt games don't have.

Why not spectate the objects position? Sure it'll be a bit choppy but it'll get the job done.

What do you mean? Half the objects you could be in prophunt had no collisions and you could hide in things like tires etc.

For making players invisible couldn't you use kurta999's version of YSF and use
pawn Code:
native ShowPlayerForPlayer(forplayerid, playerid);
native HidePlayerForPlayer(forplayerid, playerid);
Then you could constantly update the prop object at the players foot level so where ever they stand the object is there for other. Not sure if it would work right tho.

Spectate an object and move it around using keys. Try to make some collision system that prevents your object from going through floors/walls. When you want the object to take damage, you could use position checks although that might be choppy with high pings, I don't know.

Could work better. Hitboxes will be inaccurate though.

Could use OnPlayerShootDynamicObject via the streamer plugin to detect that.

Oh i did not knew about that, Thanks i'll try this one. I hope i get it to work with Players instead of RC.

Hm.. I think that will glitch the player. Though i got an idea how to fix that.

Yeah i wanted to do that, but thought of not doing it cuz of Collision.

No thanks. And it's the worst suggestion ever. And please next time don't post useless shit, This is for SAMP if i had to play it on Other game i would not create this topic.

You truly need to get out of here. There's plenty of objects to be in GTA:SA of course with some restrictions.
OT: If I am not mistaken RC Tiger (is the tank), what about the RC Car itself?

Yeah, i checked it. It made some smoke type and car sound.

What if you just attach a player object to the player that only shows for them, then update another object at the players feet that only other players can see. Then the object for them is attached and wont affect them, and for others the player would be invisible and they would see a moving object that's only streamed for them. Kinda half awake atm if you need me to i can explain it better later.

I'd definetly play on a server like this but you gotta watch out for them ESP/wall hacks. And when you walk near another player don't they make noises?

It's good, because if a prop walks near hunter the Hunter will see it :P so it won't matter + imo it's actually great, once a hunter is close, You don't move or you just run. No walking

It's time for unique servers than DM, Freeroam, RP, and this suggestion isn't bad at all. About a year ago i had same ideas to make PropHunt in sa-mp like gmod, but i gave up. Tried to use modified invisible player skins etc

You can no longer use GetPlayerObjectPosition, As it will return errornous values, and not the rorations either. This is because it's now an ATTACHEDObject. Still a player object, however it's now dynamic and moving.If there was a function such as: GetPlayerAttachedObjectPosition...
