My PC recently got infected that required reformatting. I can live with that.. but? Now everything (including picture) seems WAY more clearer than before? Sound stupid but.. Any reason per say?

You maybe had previously changed the the display and quality settings and when you formatted you PC they were set back.

I'd like really to suggest you to reinstall your Windows and a new, better antivirus software.
