Server lags on a specific players number - Battlezone - 24.07.2014
Hey, i got a big problem, everytime the server gets only 5-6 players online, it lags as hell for many minutes ( the clients cant send messages, packetloss, the server doesnt respond), then it gets back, but when i get 7+ players it doesnt, any help?

Maybe it has something to do with your host are you using a free host?

Yea as already stated we need to know what platform tor server is hosted on. If it's free hosing it's likely the node is slightly overloaded, we overcome this by performing a restart every month or so. Ask your host if they can remove inactive servers or at least stop them. And if they have any extra nodes with less of a intensive load.

I agree with all replies check any plugin which can check what's using high CPU at your server, and buy or get any good hosting, for example volt-host.com sucks so don't use it,
Also please admins don't remove my whole reply if its not allowed xDD: you can use www.uhc-host.co.nl , i have 10CPU cores.

This just happens for 5-6 players, but not for 7+ players. So its not a server overload, but obviously some kind of scripting problem.

There are no problems with memory/host, our VPS is able to run super heavy gamemodes without any problem.
It does only lag when 5-6 players are connected.
