Ping inconsistency - PedroHey - 05.07.2014
Hello everyone, we are currently hosting a SA-MP server, and we are experiencing some ping issues.
When we run a server check on sacnr monitor, we get about 115ms to Texas and 12ms to UK. But when we press the server name to access more detailed info, the beta ping function gets strange values. It has got about 130, 500, and the most part of the tests, it's above 1000ms. Also, when I play, on my slow internet connection, I get about 150ms, and my cousin, on a faster one, gets about 500.
So I wanted to ask here, can anyone give us a hand in testing this ping? We want to see if other players on other countries can play well, but since we don't know anyone, I came here to ask for your help. So if you could measure your ping to our server and post it here, or point us some global ping measuring websites, we would be extremely pleased and glad!

I can't tell if you legitimately want to know about ping or if you are very subtle at advertising. Either way there is websites where you can test your servers ping globally. Oh and if you really want people to test ping, remove the ip and ask them to pm you. That way it doesn't seem like an advert.

I found cloudmonitor.ca.com and super-ping.com to work quite well, and altough the results weren't bad, they could have been better. Anyway, now my post seems stupid and childish. Thank you!
