Domain - Su37Erich - 25.06.2014

Hello,
I want have a domain for my SA-MP server but I don't know nothing about domains.
I already have a VPS and a domain purchased in domvps.com, but I can't understand how can I associate it with my current IP of my VPS
In the configuration I only see an option to change the nameservers and register nameservers. But I don't understand nothing, that shows something like this:
ns1.mydomain.info
And what is this?, Can I put here my IP address?
For example here forum.sa-mp.com, then 'forum' is the 'ns1'?
If I want only use the domain and not the 'forum' or 'ns1', then how?
Really I don't understand nothing and I think that I must configure something in Apache if I want use my webpage too with the domain.
I was investigating but the ****** only shows me information about cPanel or something similar with DNS configuration. DNS = Domain Name System but how this works? Really I don't understand.
Please anyone help me.
Thank you so much.

I registered and I did the following:
1. Change the nameservers to ns1.afraid.org
2. Add a (already registered) domain into FreeDNS
3. Check for a broken domain
4. Manage my domain and in direction field I put my IP, now this shows as following:
mydomain.info (G) A *.*.*.*
And isn't working.
Please help.
