I think only php and css is required.

For web designing: HTML, CSS, (optional: PHP, MYSQLi, AJAX) etc...

If you want to build interactive, data-driven websites, first of all you need to learn HTML. A good start after HTML would be CSS then PHP, MySQL and of course JavaScript. You could also search in ****** for some e-books which are totally free and start off reading and learning yourself. You have to practice at coding and follow the books examples. Everything requires time and effort. If you aren't interested, don't waste your time, however if you really are, then good luck.

PHP is good, yeah. But writing a website in C++ is more powerful. Learn HTML first, then PHP, then C++ ( and/or Java )
