SAMP chatlog/screenshot and SSD - Neophyte94 - 13.06.2014

Hi,

I've just bought a new computer with a SSD and to avoid as much writing operations on the disk (to keep it as healthy as possible), i was wondering if it's possible to modify the directory of the chatlog, and the screenshot folder so these files are saved on my SATA HDD instead?

Don't believe there is a default function to move the screenshots/chat log, the chat log is minuscule anyway, and you can use a program such as Fraps to take screenshots and point that to the SATA HDD. Though, you can probably create a symbolic link to map the SA-MP user files to your HDD, I've never tried it, but it'll likely work. Fraps would be better as it doesn't take forever to save the screenshots which is annoying as hell with F8. You can save 4 GB or so by installing GTA SA to your SATA HDD and then pointing it to that location within SA-MP.
