Apple Introduces Swift -

Apple announced their new programming language called Swift. They will courage developers to leave C and go for Swift. Is anyone thinking of learning it here?

I might give it a try, but I'm not leaving C or any other language just for their language lol
On a side note; I did read on the intro page that it works side by side with Objective C.. So that could come in nicely I guess

Don't know, might give it a try. I don't think it's so powerful to replace C, since it can be used for Apple products only. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I read it should manage memory properly by itself. I'm happy. Gonna write some apps again soon I guess
Must be much easier as objective-c.

It's made only for Apple OS's, but I might give it a try. Thanks for informing.

Nope, Im really not interested in buying a "developer license" just for the permission to create apps and share any income with apple.
