Nothing really has changed IIRC, except of course 0.3z which eliminates the need to lead aim, if the server chooses to have that option.

samp hasn't changed, it is still active and the servers (at least the freeroam servers which are my type) are still like they used to be. although some crappy ones have started to arrive. But roleplay hasn't made progress.
