Internet help. - GreenSt4lker - 23.05.2014

Hey all its me again. So i finally got my PC to work and i cant acces internet. (can trough mobile). On router it says that internet is working and behind PC the light is up that its running. But on PC it says that network cable isnt plugged. Any solutions?

did you install the driver that came with your motherboard?

I didnt get any driver because i changed the internet card. It did work before i stopped using PC i stopped using it like year ago and i plugged it today and cant connect altrough it says on routee rhat its connected.

So are you using a network card or the built in motherboard one? For either one you should be able to ****** for the drivers, never expect to just receive them in the package since 9 times out of 10 the drivers included with your product are extremely out of date.

Oh also have you tried using a different network cable to see if it is a problem with the cable? Or test it with a computer where you know the ethernet is working correctly. Oh also fairly sure this would count as PC help so you should have really posted it there.

The network card is from my uncles pc. It was working normally year ago and o connected to pC and.noting. May i add that 2 LAN icons on Network connections are missing.
