Migrating to a new host - User files aren't working -
Aerotactics - 25.03.2014
We migrated from
{[HOST A]} to
{[HOST B]}, and now none of the user files are saved or loaded properly. Should we get a new host? Or is there a fix for this?
Everything worked just fine on
{[HOST A]} but when we copied the exact files to our new host, the server stopped working properly.
It was literally a copy, then paste to the new host, now it doesn't work.
Also, we are not interested in using MySql.
I don't need a lecture on why I shouldn't have moved away from
{[HOST A]} to go to
{[HOST B]}. Seriously, that's not what the thread was even about. Don't even ask what the hosts are if you have no intention of helping me.

Change host simple, You had no issues with HOST A, Its only with HOST B.
Try Re-Uploading everything, Make your HOST B virgin and upload all files once again and try if that works, If it doesn't then change to HOST C.

Have you recompiled the GM with the latest 0.3z build? If not, make sure you do.
This issue is probably caused by:
- An incompatibility between the SA-MP versions with your gamemode (rare).
- A mistake you made in the gamemode that you didn't update until now and forgot you did (probable)
- The .ini files aren't readable/writable (possible).
- A missing include in the server.

I was thinking of going to Host C, but I didn't know for sure if that would solve the problem. I did re-upload everything, and while it seemed to work, it really didn't.

Do you have anything better to do than spam the same message when I already answered you in the first thread?

Maybe it's a permissions issue.

You mean like a firewall, or...? Because the files are sent through FTP.

Give a try to move on to HOST C that will work.

Do you have anything better to do than double post threads?
You did not answer my message in your first thread either, so perhaps you should pay attention to what you
actually say and do.

^^ First of all don't be asshole and be polite if somewone is trying to help you. If you are so smart then why you are asking for help
Now listen.
When you transfered files to host B make sure ALL file premissions are same as on host A. In other words for example if you are saving your user accounts under ''scriptfiles'' that folder must have at least 775 premission.
The only thing that can corrupt user data saving and loading are file premissions. If you haven't changed anything in script as you say.
