Server not starting - Printable Version

Server not starting - FaZeRs - 20.02.2014

So when i start my server it shows it have started but it's offline.

I checked logs and don't have any errors. And this GM works on my PC.

GM don't loads further this place. Server is working on my PC but it's not going on hosting.

Make sure in server.cfg file it is written 1 in front of announce

What? this has nothing to do with his problem.

On topic, you can't use that port use something like '7777' should work.

GM don't loads further this place. Server is working on my PC but it's not going on hosting.

Try restarting and wait like 5-7mins as mine server was like that before and it takes time to load make sure youve put 'bind (Your server IP address)'

5-7mins to start your server?
That's crazy.

Are you loading hundreds of megabytes of data during OnGameModeInit?

My server also loads alot of data and starts in less than a second.

On-topic:
Can you show the code starting from where you print "Listen server running on port 58000 " to the server console?
It would help a little.

I have announce 1 in server.cfg and i can't use port '7777', host offers me that port.

Are your server isn't crashing? My guess is that you either forgot to upload/include a plugin, missing a folder in scriptfiles, or some other missing function error. Install the 'crashdetect' plugin and see if you get anything from it.

Your server console mentions port 58000, while your server.cfg says 8469.
You could put some print-statements between your code under OnGameModeInit to see where it fails.

Also, your server wasn't even running, as your server console doesn't show "Number of vehicle models: xxx".
So it crashes even before it's running.
You gotta check OnGameModeInit for crashes.
